Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. When we collect health information from you, we will only collect the information for the purpose of scanning you (or for some related purpose). We may need to provide your details and history to specialists, hospitals, and other health providers.
Access and correction
You can ask us to confirm whether we hold information about you. If we hold information about you, you have the right to access the information. You can ask us to correct any information that we hold about you if you think that the information is inaccurate. If we refuse to correct your information, you can ask us to put a note on your information that states that you have asked for the correction to be made.
Storage, Security and Retention
Personal information may be stored in hard copy and/or electronic form including with third party data facilities and in cloud storage located in and outside New Zealand. When you provide us with your personal information you give us your consent to store your personal information outside of New Zealand and in third party facilities.
We take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. We will retain your personal information for a period afterwards where we have an ongoing legal or business need to retain it.
Feedback and Complaints
We value your feedback. Complaints are taken seriously and are used as an opportunity to improve the patient experience.
